Trent, the worship band from Trent Vineyard, Nottingham UK, will be playing in Vienna on 8th March 2008 at a worship event called 'UPraise'. We're trying to sort out another gig somewhere in Germany (Berlin hopefully) for the following evening. More details to follow as we get them...

They've also been invited to play in Slovakia in August at a major worship festival there called CampFest. Again, more details to follow shortly.

And finally, for now at least, they'll also be playing at the Passion 08 event on 18/19 July in Stoke-on-Trent.

We'll update you on these and other events as details become clearer....

Oh, and if you want to hear their music, buy 'Unfailing Love' here through our SHOP!

2 New Videos at SongTeach.co.uk

We have 2 new videos online at www.songteach.co.uk, Nothing In This World, taken from the New Songs Vol.1 EP and I Will Hold On from the Hold On CD.

Phil Lane from Oasis Global has created a Facebook group called A million to Stop the Traffik, so now its even easier to sign the petition online. They are looking to present a petition to the United Nations in February next year with 1 million names on it.

Vineyard Records UK is proud to be a member of the Stop the Traffik coalition, part of a global call to end the injustice of people traffiking. You can lend your voice at www.stopthetraffik.org or join the Facebook group at http://www.facebook.com/n/?group.php&gid=12001655194

Report: What Is Worship in Bury St Edmunds

I am back in the office today having had the pleasure of attending the What Is Worship conference in Bury St Edmunds.

The West Suffolk Vineyard hosted the event and were fantastic at that too! From event set-up and organising to packing down the last cable on the day they were just great.

Dan Wilt was on form as ever - challenging, inspiring and arm-waving too of course! This was the 7th What Is Worship that we have done and I've been to all of them and still loving it.

The worship band was put together by the guys at the Southend Vineyard (another top bunch!) and they pulled together folks from the West Suffolk, Southampton and Hull Vineyards.

We worshiped, soaked in Dan's teaching and God presence on a sunny market day in Bury, where the soundwaves echoed out above a townfull of shoppers.

A wonderful day, a wonderful conference and a wonderful host church.

If you see a What Is Worship near you... get to it!

Postal Strikes

ANOTHER UPDATE (16.10.07)- The CWU and Royal Mail may have come to an agreement. Planned strike action is on hold for the moment and we hope that parcels are getting through the back log. Fingers crossed everything will be back to normal soon.

UPDATE
- It looks like there may be more industrial action starting on Monday Oct 15th. This appears to be more localised than the previous action so you may find that your service is not affected or that the affect is minimal.

We will do our best to get your orders to you as soon as possible.

You can see the full details on the Royal Mail website.

The Communications Workers Union has announced two 48 hour strikes (from lunchtime on 4th October until Saturday 6th and from the early hours of Monday 8th October until Wednesday 10th) that will be affecting getting CDs and other products from our online shop to you as quickly as we normally do around these dates.

If you are looking for an album fast why not try iTunes where you can download albums and individual tracks - just search for "Vineyard UK" in the iTunes Store.
